Fire Prevention Open House
Hello! From time to time the fire and EMS departments across Harford County will be taking the time on this blog to let you know what we are doing. This week is Fire Prevention Week all across the United States. Many of the fire and EMS departments in Harford County will be hosting open houses on Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th. Here is one of them:
Come join the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company as they celebrate Fire Prevention Week. Stop by the main fire station on Hickory Avenue or the Forest Hill Sub-Station on East Jarrettsville Road October 13th from 1 till 4 PM.
This year’s theme is practicing your fire escape plan. See live fire and the jaws of life demonstrations. In addition there will be activities for the kids and also tours of the stations and equipment.
Pit beef and drinks will be on sale as well. Have fun while you learn during fire prevention week.

That is awesome, we were just saying that we need to buy the fire ladders when we saw them at Home Depot and now that our kids are a bit older put a plan in place. You never think it can happen to you but…
