Want to know what will get you a 3-day suspension from middle school?

Apparently, hanging this picture outside of your locker will. According to a story from PlugInMusic.com, a Magnolia Middle School student was given a 3-day suspension for having this photo hanging outside of her locker. It’s understandable that a photo like this one should not be out for all to see on the outside of one’s locker, but is a suspension really necessary? Couldn’t administrators simply ask the student to put the photo away and take it home? On the other hand, the student is in middle school, and we have no idea if this wa an isolated incident.

  1. The male bodies shown in that poster could only be appealing to a middle-school girl, and in no way merited the student an alleged three-day suspension. I’m sure there are matters that require suspension, but that is not one of them. However, her parents should wonder where her mind was that prompted her to post the picture outside her locker. Perhaps the child and her parents’ defense should have been that someone put it there as a prank, and that it really didn’t require suspension.
