Men don’t have to pay to see nude girls anymore

Having dinner at a Bel Air restaurant proved to be quite the eye-opener for my family and I while dining with my grandmother who just turned 70-years-old on Sept. 11th.

All a man has to do is go out to the local bars and restaurants to have an eye-popping desireable menu without having to eat any food. Chicken breasts weren’t the only thing you saw while trying to read a menu as a lot of females’ breast were visible in tight-fitting and low-cut attire, hanging over the tables.

Now, I understand the importance of trying to look your best in public for some who still care about public appearance. But, what’s going through some females’ minds when they are putting on some clothing that should never be worn outside the house? And, it’s not just young adults, it’s older ladies too who are trying to defy the aging process, and trick themselves and others into believing that they are “sexy,” and clearly a “sight for sore eyes,” literally.

Perhaps these women want to look appealing to certain men, but why should other women who are not degrading themselves in improper dress be subjected to some of the horrific sites? If a lot of establishments still require shirts and shoes before entering, then the same should be said for women who choose to show their chests on purpose in public places like it’s a “Girls Gone Wild” video.

No, I’m not jealous or think that the women look better than me. I’m just saying if my own grandmother and I both are repulsed at the sights then something is wrong. My grandmother would dye her hair blonde before it was popular in some communities years ago, wear really nice clothes and jewelry, in addition to showing off her designer diamond-studded eye glasses. She looked good and knew it. However, she still looked good without all of the adornment, and she wasn’t fully exposing herself to the community.

We laughed when my grandmother said the other night that the scantilly clad women would be forced to cover up if a bee stung them on their exposed breasts. She didn’t laugh though because that actually happened to her when she put perfume on them a long time ago before she went out, trying to be sexy and smell sweet. Well, instead of attracting the opposite sex that day, she just attracted a yellow jacket who spared her the stinger. She even went to the emergency room for her efforts of drawing attention to the wrong part of the body.

  1. …it’s enough to give me a heart attack sometimes. It can be hard not to stare, but then I just remember have I have 3 little girls at home, and that could e them one day. Maybe we will revert back to the puritan age of long dresses from neck to toes? A dad can dream, can’t he?

  2. come on…..really while i do not dress like that I respect and love the fact that we live in a free society where we have the option to wear what what we want.  You talk like they should be arrested for indecent exposure. Tasteless maybe, but that is  their personal choice.

  3. Freshyields- Wishful thinking. Although I also pray that my children will have the self assurance and self respect to dress appropriately and not like they are off to some nightclub while sitting in Applebee’s for the early bird special.

But yes, I do wish that women would make better choices in their wardrobes, like I said above… It all comes down to self assurance and if they haven’t been taught that or observed it first hand, then who is to blame? Maybe we could implement a "if you have… a belly button showing, cleavage spilling out and cheeks peeking from below, no service" rule. Although I do not think that would go over well. Hahaha. :)

But I guess freedom of… well, wardrobe?

  4. Society still shuns upon flashers, and continues to have police seek out the indecent exposure suspect, so much so that there were recent incidents a few months ago of a flasher who was continuously showing himself in communities and getting Harford County residents in an uproar. Men are often the perpetrators, but they too are exercising their freedom to show their flesh, and get the same effect that women with wardrobe malfunctions are longing for.
